Security You Can Trust

Automotive.

Locksmith Services we strive to be the best when it comes to the Automotive Locksmith industry. We know it can be very stressful to have car troubles so we are here to help.

We can provide services to all makes and models of vehicles from original keys made when they are lost, to a couple extra keys for your car.

Transponder Keys.

There are two different kinds of keys that your average Automotive Locksmith might not tell you. There is a metal key and a transponder key or chip key. A metal key is made to just have the proper cuts to turn the ignition and start the car, there is no anti-theft system at all. A transponder key has a chip that communicates with the computer of the vehicle to start the car. This system is usually for newer model vehicles, and requires that the Automotive Locksmith working on your car has the required software on his OBD-2 machine to program your transponder key.

Mechanical Keys.

Sometimes the wear and tear on a key makes it hard to turn, or completely gets stuck. Usually a bit of lube inside the ignition can fix the issue, if the problem persists you now know there’s something wrong with the key or the ignition cylinder, so the recommended route would be to go to an Automotive Locksmith in your area with the skills necessary to work on your vehicle.

Automotive Re-keys.

An Automotive Re-key is
is essentially the same as any other lock re-key. Changing the pin tumblers or wafers as their called, so that the old key no longer works and a new key is made for your lock. This is usually required when someone you don’t trust has a key to your vehicle.

Automotive Lockouts.

Getting Locked out of your Vehicle can be stressful regardless of the situation especially in a place like Colorado where weather can change very rapidly.

Any Locksmith in can and should be able to open almost any vehicle,
and for your security make sure you are given a final price before any Locksmith is sent to your location.
